Mission

Sedimenti aims to be a resource for both the artist and the public. We're here to provide the public with an easily accessible gallery of art, design, and craft. We also provide reliable services in arenas as varied as murals, house painting, color consultation, design, and carpentry. With our network of artists, we hope to help each other in the struggle to remain independent while making an honest living for ourselves. We commit to provide quality work for our clients and customers. In asserting ourselves as a unique organization comprised of well-trained, practicing artists, designers and artisans, we'll be generating jobs for freelance artists and independent contractors alike. This is accomplished by reciprocal networking and using each other's contacts, resources and various talents to collaborate on commission projects and other paid work.

Sedimenti hopes to spread and offers artists the opportunity to join forces with us through submissions to be featured artists or "members" on this site.   If you provide more functional services as well, like carpentry, house painting, faux finishing, designing, even programming or coding, we'd love for you to be included in our reliable business listings for independent contracting, provided you have suitable references.   As you'll see in the five year plan, Sedimenti aspires to, should independent artists/contractors so desire, function as the general contractors and/or business aids to our member's endeavors.   This is not so that we make money off of sub-contractors but so that we can all share equipment, business forms, and eventually insurance plans to make the whole professional artist/artisan thing a little easier to conceive of for the sometimes overwhelmed artist.
